Kruger - Cape Town - Vic Falls - Chobe Safari

15 Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Depart Australia today to begin your private Africa safari!On arrival at Johannesburg airport proceed to the collection point for your transfer to your hotel, Peermont Mondior for your overnight stay in Johannesburg. The collection and drop off point is approximately 30 meters from the exit of the airport.The Peermont Mondior provides the return airport shuttle service.

Day 2 – After an early morning breakfast, you will take the shuttle service from the hotel to Johannesburg airport for your flight to Nelspruit Airport. Upon arrival at Nelspruit, you will be met by a representative of your lodge and transferred to your luxury accommodation. After check-in, relax and enjoy the day at your leisure. Later this evening, enjoy a 3-course dinner to round off the day.

Day 3 – Today, start with an early morning game drive in the Kruger National Park. Ensure you bring your camera along as you will be spotting the BIG 5 in their natural environment. The abundance of species you will see will be an experience of a lifetime. Get up close to the animals in your specialised safari vehicle lead by an expert guide. The game drive is approximately 6-8 hours. Later this evening, enjoy a sumptuous 3 course dinner while swapping stories of your animal encounters earlier that day.

Day 4 – Today is a free day. After breakfast, you may simply wish to relax and unwind from the previous days safari or partake in an optional excursion to Swaziland.

Optional tour (at your own expense): You may want to consider an optional Swaziland day tour. After an early breakfast, you will visit a Swazi Village and gain insight to the Swazi culture and traditions. The tour includes an authentic African lunch, dancing and an opportunity to interact with the local community. AUD$235 per person.


Optional tour (at your own expense): Panoramic Tour. Rise early for one of the most scenic tours. The tour explores the North Eastern escarpment of the Drakensberg and includes a visit to Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window and Bourkes Potholes which is a geological phenomenon.

Neighbouring the Kruger National Park, lies the Blyde River Canyon. The Blyde River Canyon is the third deepest canyon in the world (after the Grand Canyon in the western U.S. and Namibia's Fish Eagle Canyon). Its scenery is unsurpassed, its vegetation is both varied and lush and provides a home to a rich selection of bird and wildlife. It ranks as one of the most spectacular sights in Africa. AUD$235 per person.

Day 5 – Rise early again today for your second game drive in the Kruger National Park - you might spot animals you missed on the first game drive and encounter different experiences.

Day 6 – After breakfast, you will be transferred to the nearby Nelspruit Airport for your onward flight to Cape Town International Airport.

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a local representative for your transfer to your hotel in Cape Town. Spend the rest of your day at leisure to explore this postcard city.

Day 7 -  After an early breakfast, enjoy a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. The tour includes a trip to Cape Point at the southern western tip of the Cape Peninsula with the  most spectacular views. The Cape Point Nature Reserve comprises of 17300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora. Here you can see wildlife that includes baboon's, rhebok, Cape Mountain Zebra and the elusive eland. Bird watches will also find many fine species to observe. Visit the Boulders Beach to visit the penguin colony (entrance for your own expense). Before returning to your hotel, you will stop at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens for a short walking tour of the beautiful garden.

Day 8 – After breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel for a short tour of Afrogem, one of the leading jewellery manufacturers in South Africa. You will have firsthand experience of how smelted gold is transformed and watch the craftsman set gems and semi-precious stones in the creation of jewellery. After, enjoy a trip up the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for some exquisite views of Cape Town! When you are ready, make your own way back to your hotel where the rest of the day is yours to leisure.

Day 9 - Today is yours to leisure.

Optional tour (at your own expense): Wineland Tour - Franschoek. After breakfast, you will collected at your hotel for a Wine Tram excursion tour Franschoek. Enjoy some wine tasting, buy some excellent Cape wines, enjoy a cellar tour or lunch. Later that afternoon you will be transferred back to your hotel. AUD$155 per person.

Day 10 - After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Vic Falls





Day 11 - On arrival at Vic Falls airport, you will be transferred to your hotel, Stanley and Livingstone Hotel.The hotel is surrounded by the tranquility of the natural reserve and is located 15 minutes from the spectaculor Vic Falls. Later the afternoon, depart on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi Explorer Signature Deck.

Enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery and wildlife sightings along the river. Return to the hotel and spend the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Day12 – After breakfast, you will be collected at the hotel for the tour of the majestic Vic Falls. You will discover the beauty and how the Falls were formed. After the tour of the Falls you may consider a flight over the Vic Falls - "The flight of Angels" which has spectacular aerial views (for your own account $275 per person).Later the evening you will enjoy a Boma dinner which is not only an authentic African dinner but  includes dancing and drumming to the African rythum.

Day 13 - After breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel for the full day Chobe Safari and river cruise. Enjoy a half day game safari in the Chobe National Park and after lunch, a river cruise on the Chobe River. It is a wonderful way to experience both land and water based safaris.
