Day 1 - Depart Australia today to begin your private Africa safari!

Day 2 – On arrival in Johannesburg, you will take your connecting flight to Nelspruit Airport, the airport for Kruger National Park. Upon arrival at Nelspruit, you will be met by a representative of your lodge and transferred to your luxury accommodation for the next four nights. Kruger is famous for its high density of wild animals which includes the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hundreds of other mammals also make their home here.

Day 3 – Today, start with an early morning game drive (6-7hours) in the world renowned Kruger National Park. Ensure you bring your camera along as you will be spotting the BIG 5 in their natural environment. The abundance of species you will see will be an experience of a lifetime. Get up close to the animals in your specialised safari vehicle lead by an expert guide. Later this evening, enjoy a sumptuous 3 course dinner while swapping stories of your animal encounters earlier that day.

Day 4 – Rise early again today for your second game drive (6-7 hours) in the Kruger National Park - you might spot animals you missed yesterday or encounter different experiences. Keep your eyes open!

Day 5 – Today is a free day, alternatively you might enjoy an optional tour.

Optional tour (at your own expense): You may want to consider an optional Swaziland day tour. After an early breakfast, you will visit a Swazi Village and gain insight to the Swazi culture and traditions. The tour includes an authentic African lunch, dancing and an opportunity to interact with the local community.

Optional tour (at your own expense): Panoramic Tour. Rise early for one of the most scenic tours in South Africa. The tour explores the North Eastern escarpment of the 

Drakensberg and includes a visit to Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window and Bourkes Potholes which is a geological phenomenon.

Day 6 – After breakfast, you will be transferred to Nelspruit Airport for your onward flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at Johannesburg Airport, you will be met by a tour representative for your transfer to your hotel in Pretoria for you overnight stay. After check in, relax and enjoy the day at your leisure.

Day 7 – Today, you will be transferred to the station to board the incredible Rovos Rail. Step on board in to the opulence and old world charm that makes the Rovos Rail one of the greatest train journey's in the world. Lunch is served in the dining cars as the train travels north through Warmbaths and Nylstroom, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn. Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner en route to Messina and Beitbridge for Zimbabwe border formalities.

Day 8 – Today is a day at leisure to watch the African savannah drift by from the luxury of your stateroom. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served as the train travels towards Bulawayo via Rutenga and Somabhula. Overnight stop on board at Mpopoma.

Day 9 – Breakfast is served as the train departs Mpopoma. Enjoy lunch while traveling along the eastern edge of the Hwange Park along one of Africa's longest stretches of straight railway line - 114 kilometres. After lunch we arrive at Kennedy Siding to disembark the train for a game drive at "The Hide" reserve in the Hwange National Park. Hwange National Park is well known for its large herds of elephants which are famous across Africa and with over 100 species of mammals, you are guaranteed to have a once in a lifetime safari experience. Reboard the train then dinner is served in the dining cars en route to Thompsons Junction for the overnight stop on board the train.

Day 10 – This morning after breakfast, you will disembark from the Rovos Rail. You will be met at the train station by a representative of Webjet who will transfer you to your hotel. A Zambezi River Lodge, nestling on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. Later the afternoon you will enjoy a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River. It is a suburb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the River. You will have the opportunity to see a variety of game including hippos, crocodiles and a variety of bird species.

Day 11 – After breakfast, enjoy the spectacular and informative tour of the Falls. You will discover how the Falls was formed and traditions that surround them. After the tour of the Falls, you may consider booking the following activities (for your own account and must be booked at the time of your booking the tour).

13 minute helicopter flight over the Falls - the "Flight of the Angels" is a majestic and scenic flight over the Victoria Falls.

Later the evening enjoy a Boma dinner which is not only an authentic African dinner and also a cultural experience.

Day 12 – After breakfast, you will transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward flight to Cape Town. On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a representative of Private Safaris who will assist you with the transfers to your hotel. Refresh and relax and spend the rest of your day at your leisure.

Day 13 – After breakfast, you will be transferred to Franschoek Valley. This is the food and wine heartland of the country, where splendid wines are grown and top chefs create lasting memories. The wine tour is a combination of tram and tram bus that will transport you around a loop seven stops allowing you to hop off at each stop and experience the activities on offer, may it be wine tasting on a cellar tour or lunch.

Day 14 – After breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel for a 30 minute tour of Afrogem, one of the leading jewellery manufacturers in South Africa. You will have firsthand experience of how smelted gold is transformed and watch the craftsman set gems and semi-precious stones in the creation of jewellery. After, enjoy a trip up the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for some exquisite views of Cape Town! When you are ready, make your own way back to your hotel where the rest of the day is yours to leisure.

Day 15 -  After an early breakfast, bring your camera to enjoy a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula! The tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic Coast passing through Camps Bay and the fishing village of Hout Bay. The tour includes a trip to Cape Point at the southern western tip of the Cape Peninsula with the most spectacular views. The Cape Point Nature Reserve comprises of 17300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora. Here you can see wildlife that includes baboon's, rhebok, Cape Mountain Zebra and the elusive eland. Witness the union of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. On route back to your hotel we also visit the penguin colony at the Boulders Beach (entry on your own account).  The last stop is at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens for a short walking tour of the beautiful garden.
