Day 1 - Arrive at Zurich Airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Schaffhausen - Best Western Plus Bahnhof. Spend the rest of your day at leisure.

Schaffhausen is a historic medieval old town on the upper Rhine River, bordering Germany. Surrounded by vineyard-streaked hills, take a lovely walk or cycle ride and enjoy a tasty drop of Pinot Noir.

The lively quaint Old Town is very good for shopping. The town began with the street market in what is now the Vordergasse. This is also where you will find the High Gothic St. Johann church with its remarkable acoustics. The riverside landscape along the Rhine is a lovely area for cycling, walking and boating.

Day 2 – After breakfast, you will be collected at the hotel for a tour of the Rhine Falls and Lake Constance.

The Rhine Falls is the largest waterfall in Switzerland and Europe. Stand above Europe's largest waterfall and feel the roar and vibration over ones entire body. Virtually in the middle of the waterfall, visitors stand on platforms that jut out and partially hover over the Rhine. The castles of Wörth and Laufen can be reached by river boat, and very daring visitors can rent canoes.

Lake Constance measures 64km in length and 12km at it widest point and is sited at the tripoint of Switzerland/Germany/Austria, making it the third largest lake in Central Europe. The gently undulating landscape around Lake Constance is a paradise for active holidaymakers. This excursion and relaxation region offers countless water sports opportunities, hiking and walking trails, but especially skating routes and cycling tracks. A favourite classic is the Lake Constance Cycle Path, which leads right around the lake.
